Shri Dibyendu Maiti

Shri Dibyendu Maiti has taken over as Chief Executive Officer, MiG Complex from July 1, 2021. Prior to this, he was Executive Director (Corporate Planning) at Corporate Office.
Shri Dibyendu Maiti did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from REC Durgapur and M. Tech in Aircraft Production Engg from IIT, Madras. He did his MS in Aeronautics & Space Technology from ENSAE, Toulouse France. He joined HAL as a Management Trainee (Technical) in 1985 and has 35 years of experience in various key positions.
During his career spanning over 35 years in HAL, he has worked at Nasik Division, MiG Complex Office and Corporate Office at various positions in various capacities. He contributed significantly towards indigenous development of highly complicated test rigs for RD-33 engine accessories & BISON upgrade. He was instrumental in establishing the ROH facilities of Su-30MKI Aircraft, the first ever ROH line for the Aircraft in the world. He also steered the project for enhancement of ROH facilities from 15 to 20 aircraft. He held the position of Secretary in the erstwhile Indo Russian Sub Group on Aviation (IRSA) during his tenure at MiG Complex.
During his tenure in Corporate Office, he played a key role in activities such as 'Perspective Plan 2021-2030', identification of diversification projects for HAL, anchored signing of various significant MoUs and resolved many supply chain and projects related issues.
He has vast experience of handling very complex projects involving various stake holders and interactions with customers like Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Ministry of Defence and many overseas customers.
He is not holding any share in the Company
